The enchantment creation tool is a tool for both DMs and Players to help create essentially infinite combinations of magical items.

The default amount of attuned items a player can carry is still 3, but an enchanment can have multiple attunements, this is reflected in the cost of enchantment slots. Having spells enchanted into the item also counts as an attuned item.

The max number of enchantments and item can have is 5. Each enchantment increases the value of the item. The base cost is listed for each enchantment in the enchantments page.

The baseline crafting time (also known as casting time) to enchant an item with an enchantment template, in game, would take 1 day, of 8 man hours of labor, per 100gp of the total cost of the enchantment template; but it is up to the DM to determine the time constraint.

Any enchantment that requires attunement for an item, retains that attunement, but most creatures can only attune to 3 times at a time. An attuned item is always equipped on a player. An enchantment with multiple attunements counts as only 1 attuned item, but all attunement prerequisites must be kept if the creature has to attune to the item.

The player or creature must have the Enchanter Feat to directly enchant an item themselves.

Any item that requires charges that has 2 enchantments gains Overcharged passive ability. Any item with 3 or more enchantments which has charges gains Extreme Overcharge

The base item name cannot be changed at this time, but you can always change the inventory item name you apply the enchantment template to in-game. You can search the enhantments templates page to see if the enchantment template has already been created.

Once in-game, you can apply an enchantment template to an item to gain all the features and abilities an enchantment template has.
